February Meeting Notes

THis is gonna be brief.
We currently have about $630 in the account.
Karen has us all up to date in Bivio and it's a pain in the patoot - especially calculating dividends (on which we actually pay commission)...no wonder it takes so long to get rich.

Target, Kayden, Stryker, Rofin and Neogen are all hold, as is Energy Conversion which has been upgraded to hold from sell by one analyst. Google is now at the break-even point with our investment.

Francie talked about Kellogg - a LARGE MI company and huge donor to MSU.
There will be a live webcast to investors on Feb. 17, which she'll tell us about, so we can hear what they have to say before next month. Kellogg is following the trends of major indexes and, like most of our stocks, is just under the 52-week high. There are women in higher positions of marketing and research.

For the next meeting, Barb's going to look into ACAP (AP Capital, where Mary works). They should be out of the black-out period, so we could buy if we wanted next month.

And that's that. Any other brilliant finds are welcome next month, but we'll be buying, so bring your thumbs.
